She’s been in TV shows and series including Underbelly, House Husbands, Anzac Girls and The Doctor Blake Mysteries, just to name a few. But Anna McGahan told Eternity that being an actress is a hard slog, and sorting out what roles to say yes and no to is just one of the things she struggles with.
“Even though I was in character … these screen captures of my character in sexually vulnerable positions would appear on pornographic websites. And that rocked me. Because, to me, that is so destructive.”
In 2012, Anna started investigating Jesus. And that, she says, changed everything.
“I basically met this person – the person of Jesus – that I couldn’t even imagine. Somebody that stood on my side of the fence. I saw Christians as people who judged me and Jesus was there on my side.”

Some prayer points to help
