Burnouts, fishtails, jet-powered cars and hot laps were all part of a big family day in Sydney last weekend.
The all-ages event at Eastern Creek raceway was put on by Life Choices Foundation, an organisation which visits high schools and prisons to encourage considered decision-making.
Andrew “Fishtail” Fisher from the Jesus Racing team is the face of Life Choices Foundation. A recognisable presence on racetracks around Australian, Fisher explained that the Eastern Creek event was about “inviting the community to come and experience first-hand” what Life Choices is all about.
Fancy and fast cars were combined with rides, sideshows and other entertainment to help Fisher’s organisation promote the idea that Christianity is not opposed to fun or enjoyment.
