Sydney’s Big Exo Day, organised by Youth Alive and running now for 11 years, is scheduled for September 15. Tens of thousands of people are expected to attend and enjoy the ultimate combination of Christian music, atmosphere and creativity. Family force 5 and Christian stars from The Voice are some of those scheduled to perform.
Another big event will run over the NSW long weekend of September 28 -October 1, with Blackstump running it’s 26th annual festival. A huge range of music, together with the arts and social issues, will be represented at the festival, with speakers like Jon Owen and Ash Barker, as well as representatives from Compassion and Tear, speaking on justice and life issues.
Also in September, Hillsong will launch a mammoth global project. On September 18 Hillsong will release an album in nine different languages, with songs including Mighty to Save,Hosanna and God is Able. The Hillsong worship band recorded each album, with singers from the nine countries providing vocals in their respective languages. Hillsong are keen to resource the body of Christ in worship, by creating an album in the language people are living and ministering in.
